Our own hot spring source, the “Hokkawa Kaihatsu Spring,” flows 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Natural hot spring water is drawn directly from the source (with water added, circulated and continuously discharged), so you can always enjoy fresh hot spring water.

Benefits
Neuralgia, frozen shoulder, poor circulation, muscle pain, motor paralysis, fatigue recovery, joint pain, bruises, chronic digestive disorders, etc.
Not recommended for: acute illnesses, tuberculosis, malignant tumors, heart disease, etc.

A hot spring 35 meters above the ground is a rare find even in Izu. Right before your eyes is the vast ocean! Watch drifting clouds and passing ships by day, the shining moon and starry sky by night, and the sun rising over the horizon in the morning — all while soaking in the hot spring with an incomparable sense of openness.

Panoramic Large Bath

Located on the 11th floor of the main building (directly below Kuchu Yuen). Separate large baths for men and women with views over the open sea. Enjoy your bath regardless of rain or wind.

Kurone Iwaburo (Seaside Open-Air Bath)

An open-air bath so close to the sea that you may feel the spray of the waves. Enjoy the scenery and the hot spring with a wonderful sense of freedom. Free for guests staying at our hotel — feel free to go in your yukata.
